The theory of the DAN Recreational Diver Medic course will be Blended learning which is online training, at the end of which, you will be able to register for the practical section of the course that will take 2 days for the Practical and invasive procedures. On completion of your practical course you will receive a DAN Recreational Diver Medical Technician Certification. The certification is valid for two years, at which point a 2 day refresher will need to be undertaken. This course is strictly a non-commercial diver course and is not an IMCA DMT Course.
To undertake this course you should be involved in the diving industry as a diver or surface support and have previous training in CPR or First Aid or Equivalent.

Pre-requisites:

Should at least hold an EFR/ BLS/First Aid Certification.

The HSE Commercial SCUBA Course. (formerly known as HSE part 4)
The HSE SCUBA certificate is an internationally recognised Approved Diving Qualification under the Diving at Work Regulations 1997 (DWR).
The possession of an Approved Diving Qualification is a legal requirement in the UK to undertake any paid diving activity, in particular HSE SCUBA satisfies the requirement for:-
Media Diving
Shellfish/Aquaculture Diving
Scientific and Archaeological Diving
Inshore/Inland civils work
The DAN Diver Medical Technician course has gained recognition as the go-to companion course for HSE SCUBA. It's noteworthy that numerous media companies are now recommending HSE SCUBA divers to complement their qualification with the DAN DMT, from The Diver Medic.
